A transport company OMEGA SERVIS HOLDING a.s. (joint-stock company) has been operating on the transport market since 1992, previously in a legal form of a limited liability company, since 1 January 1999 as a joint-stock company. It is a private entity with the following services:
- international road haulage focusing on products which are subject to ADR/ATP regime
- intermodal transports of liguid products focusing on products which are subject to ADR/ATP regime
- provision of complex traffic engineering-maintanance services
- warehousing services (1700m2)
The company’s registered office is in a 100 km distance from the Austrian-Czech border, 120 km from the Polish-Czech border and 80 km from the former joint border between the Czech and Slovak Republics. It is situated in the centre of Moravia, in the area with expanded chemical industry.
At present the company operates 90 towing vehicles above 7.5 tones:
- 20 pieces of special platform trailers of Walking floor type for transport of raw materials intended for the paper industry
- 23 pieces of special road tankers for transport of chemical substances according to ADR terms classes 4, 6, 8
- 47 pieces of special road tankers for transport of chemical substances according to ADR terms classes 3, 9
- appx 60pcs of insulated tank-containers and several container chassis
Significant business concerns in the field of chemical water treatment and clearing, aluminium works industry and paper and pulp industry make the customers of our company.
A priority orientation of our company for the future is a focus on the chemical industry and expansion of offered services by other commodities of chemical goods, including transport in specialized tank-containers.
On 8 March 2001 has been founded a subsidiary company in Slovakia: OMEGA SERVIS SLOVAKIA a.s., budova PD (PD building), 013 61 Kotešová.
In 2002 a recertification of the company according to ISO 9001:2000 standards took place.
In 2003 Romanian subsidiary OMEGA TRANS ROMANIA SRL was founded.
In 2004 the company was assessed by SQAS and obtained a certificate guaranteed by CEFIC.
In 2006 Omega Servis became regular member of ECTA, the association of chemicals transport companies based in Bruselles. In 2008 Omega Servis joined EPCA as associated member.
